Cycling at Les-Stables

Set in the quiet countryside of the Dronne Valley, the local area, littered with small roads leading you from one beautiful village to another, offers the possibility to cycle for hours encountering little more traffic than the odd tractor.

With its varied terrain the valley provides both flat, fast time-trial routes and testing hilly courses through meadows and woodland, past chateaux and watermills.

Les-Stables has designed routes from the short and flat to the long and hilly to assist you in finding a suitable route for your needs, with guided rides and maps on offer to ensure you don’t get lost. However, with such beautiful scenery you may prefer to lose yourself for a few hours taking any turning that entices you.

There are also plenty of mountain bike opportunities in the area, with a well marked network of trails in the surrounding countryside.
